Jason Johns is in his 4th year as LoveJoy HS Defensive Coordinator. This will be his 25th year of coaching, 15 of those were at the high school level. He has been part of 6 district championship teams and 14 playoff appearances. He has served as a head football coach as well as head track coach in the past.
At the collegiate level, Johns served as a GA at Angelo State before spending 6 seasons at Abilene Christian as the Defensive Coordinator. Abilene won 2 conference championships and made NCAA playoffs all 6 years.
